Arts for Wellness

Arts for Wellness harnesses the health benefits of many creative arts and expressive therapies such as art and craft classes, dance, yoga, mindfulness, meditation practices, interactive workshops and educational talks. Because all of these have the potential to lift your heart, bring joy and meaning to your life and cultivate connections with your community.
We’re offering a wide range of activities and to make it easier for you to find what interests you, we’ve divided the activities into 4 categories.
Movement & Rhythm,
Mood Food & Natural Health,
Empathy & Being Heard,
Self Expression & Being You.
Arts for Wellness comprises of 2 programs and we invite you to explore and experiment with the activities that interest you:
A month-long calendar of open classes and interactive educational programs. This includes many local practitioners, instructors, facilitators and experts with a wide range of activities in various community locations across the Northern Beaches. This program is designed to give you an opportunity to find which activity works for you – to gain full benefit, continued practice is recommended.
2 one-day events to be held in Mona Vale (5/10/19) and Manly (12/10/19). You will be able to sample the creative and expressive arts activities, therapies and experiences by booking sessions on these dates. This curated program will include highlights from our month-long calendar of events.
Our goal is to help stop the cycle of people suffering in silence by:
Providing opportunities for friendship and social connection.
Improving mental wellbeing, confidence and self-esteem.
Helping people through periods of loss and bereavement
Offering enjoyment and pleasure
