Rave Reviewz is teaming up with Subsonic Music, Return to Rio, Blueprint Entertainment and 43 Degrees Records to bring you MUSIC ON MY MIND – a dress-up rave to raise funds for mental health charities on Friday 19th October at Oxford Art Factory!
Around 45 percent of people in Australia will experience a mental health condition in their lifetime. In any one year, approximately 1 million Australian adults have depression, and over 2 million have anxiety.
Rates are even higher in musicians, who are almost seven times as likely to have thought about suicide in the past 12 months in comparison to the general population, and have more than double the rate of suicide attempts.
Mental health is an issue close to our hearts at Rave Reviewz, so to address this we’re teaming up with some of Sydney’s biggest electronic music brands to raise money for Support Act, beyondblue and Black Dog Institute with a dress up rave! Each crew will be playing a 1hr charity set on the night, featuring some of the finest house & techno selectors in Sydney…
Each year, for 3 days in the first week of December, Subsonic Music strive to bring the very best underground music from all over the globe to Australian shores and unite with the Subsonic Music tribe to celebrate music, community, art and friendship.
Return to Rio
A weekend filled with music, fun, dancing, laughter and sun. Return to Rio can be found at the magical Del Rio Riverside Resort, on the Hawkesbury River and hosting regular club events in Sydney throughout the year.

– A magical journey (wizards, witches, unicorns, fairies…)
– A journey through time (prehistoric, Vikings, 1920s gangsters & molls, 1960s hippies, ’80s punks, a time traveller from the future??)
– A journey around the world (kimonos, flamenco, cowboys & cowgirls…)
– Take us on a journey (sailors, pilots, race car drivers…)
– Your own personal journey (whatever the hell you want!)
Dress up is not compulsory but strongly encouraged, with prizes for best outfits on the night. So get planning your outfits!
