Join chef Harry Bourne (Love Supreme, Quay, Hartsyard) and Head Psychologist Mary Hoang for a mindful pasta making class that will re-connect you with the heart of cooking.

If mindfulness is the practice of paying attention on purpose, then cooking is one of the most mindful activities in our lives. The focus and repetition of making pasta can be a therapeutic exercise for many, and not just because we’re dreaming of bolognese…

In this new series held at neighbourhood favourite Love Supreme, we bring the principles of mindfulness to the kitchen. You’ll discover how mindfulness can improve the way you cook and taste food, prepare two types of authentic pasta, then we’ll share our experiences over a feast.

Harry Bourne
Chef (Love Supreme, Harts Yard, Quay)

Harry has worked in kitchens for over 10 years, starting off as a pizza maker in his father’s restaurant when he was just 16. Driven to work for the best in the industry, he cooked under Roger Narbett (MOGB) at the Chequers Inn and two Michelin starred chef Michael Caines at the Bath Priory Hotel in the UK. His energy and enthusiasm for the kitchen brought him to Quay and Harts Yard, here in Sydney. You can now find him at Love Supreme serving delicious Italian cuisine, with an emphasis on the freshest ingredients.
