Poetry workshops are a helpful way for people from diverse backgrounds to bridge barriers, encourage discussions around social issues and empower one another through their shared experiences.
As part of Mental Health Month (2021), the Transcultural Mental Health Centre (TMHC) are opening up registrations for a three-part series of online poetry workshops. The poetry workshops will use a strengths-based approach to enable participants to express their experiences of hopefulness during Covid-19. At the conclusion of the workshops, participants will have the opportunity to showcase their poetry freely in an online exhibition.
