As a stand-up comedian, Mark has been making people laugh for more than 22 years.
He brings his comedy and public speaking skills to the field of mental health and suicide prevention, including training first responders in mental health self-care.
Mark created “The Laughter Clinic” to help others on their recovery journey, using what he’s learned about the wellbeing benefits of laughter. He combines his own lived experience of battling depression for 15 years and his talent for humour, with extensive research into mental health and suicidology.
