What is Transcendental Meditation?

The Transcendental Meditation (TM) technique is a simple, effortless mental technique that is easy to learn and practice. TM is a natural and effective way for you to be more focused, calm, rested and healthy, fulfilling the full potential of your mind and body.

Transcendental Meditation originates from the ancient Vedic tradition of India. Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, who came from this tradition, introduced the TM program to the west over 50 years ago. Maharishi systematised its instruction and trained over 40,000 teachers of this program worldwide.
