Eating disorders can affect people of all ages, backgrounds, and body shapes and sizes. This program builds understanding of eating disorders, how they impact psychological and physical health and how best to support recovery.

By the end of this workshop participants will have learned about:

  • the different eating disorders, and how each of these eating disorders may impact the individual experiencing the eating disorder as well as their family and carers
  • managing both the physical and psychological aspects of eating disorders
  • how best to support recovery relevant services and how to access these services

Western Sydney Recovery College is a One Door Mental Health service made possible by funding from the Western Sydney Primary Health Network. Workshops are open to anyone with interest in mental health (consumers, carers, mental health and community workers, community members).
