The Songwriting Prize, now in its 9th year, is Australia’s largest live music songwriting competition, and the first with a mental health focus. Brought to you by award-winning mental health music charity Listen Up Music.

After a record-breaking year – receiving 444 artist entries, it’s time to hear the cream of the crop from across the seven regional Semi Finals that took place between Jul-Sep this year.

The events are especially unique, with the coming together of a community to support artists who will perform their short-listed song on the theme of ‘Acceptance’.

You will hear the story behind each song, the songs performed live, and a judging panel will give feedback after each entrant’s song. At the culmination of the evening, the overall winner will be be crowned.
